Bringing researchers and patients together

Making breakthroughs at the Oak Cancer Centre

Thanks to our incredible supporters, we raised over £70 million to build the Oak Cancer Centre cancer treatment and research facility.

The Centre brings together over 400 researchers from a range of specialities under the same roof as patients and clinicians. This supports the hospital’s ambitious research efforts and helps to speed up the development of new cancer treatments for cancer patients, everywhere.

Since opening in 2023, over 180 new research studies have been approved across a broad range of cancer types.
